Transformed North American headquarters exceeds expectations

Zurich Insurance wanted to transform its North American headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois with a new design focused on sustainability. We stepped in and, with Zurich’s environmental concerns in mind, we delivered more than just a pretty building.

Upon managing the $342 million project from site selection to construction, we exceeded expectations when we transformed the Zurich headquarters into a cutting-edge 750,000-square-foot campus with a LEED Platinum® rating — the highest green building rating available.

The spectacular facility includes multiple green roofs, energy efficient technologies, rainwater harvest and re-use, accommodations for electric and low-emitting vehicles and native landscape with more than 600 trees on 40 acres.
