Goldenrod announces plans for Van Zandt and One University

JLL to lease 218,000 square feet of high-demand, amenity-rich office space in Fort Worth

FORT WORTH, Feb. 27, 2024 – JLL announced today that they have been selected as the official listing agency for the highly anticipated mixed-use office properties, Van Zandt and One University, located in the Cultural District of Fort Worth. Totaling 218,000 square feet of Class AA office space, these buildings will play a critical role in providing much-needed Class A office space to the growing Fort Worth market.

The Van Zandt, a mixed-use development that commenced construction in December 2023, is strategically located in the Cultural District along West 7th, at the center of the thriving entertainment district. Encompassing approximately 102,000 square feet of Class AA office space, 226 multi-family units, 11,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, and a parking garage with 530 parking stalls, this development epitomizes the live-work-play environment. The amenity-rich asset includes an outdoor amenity deck with a fitness center, pool, and indoor/outdoor meeting spaces.

Around the corner to the Van Zandt development, One University, situated at 1001 University Drive across from the Museum District, began development in January 2024. Upon completion, the project is set to offer 12,000 SF of street-level retail/restaurant space along University Drive, 744 parking stalls, 116,000 SF of Class AA office space, 259 multifamily units, and a 175-key high-end Autograph Collection hotel. Autograph Collection, known for Hotel Drover and The Sinclair Hotel in Fort Worth, further enhances the multifaceted offerings within the district.

JLL’s Geoff Shelton, Senior Vice President, will be leading the leasing efforts on behalf of Goldenrod, offering a seamless experience to potential tenants.
