Mr. Ryan Hawkins is an Executive Vice President with JLL, specializing in tenant representation throughout the United States and managing global portfolios for occupiers.
Throughout his 20-year career, Mr. Hawkins has focused exclusively on representing the needs of corporate users of office and industrial space by using a multi-discipline approach (strategic planning, financial modeling and analysis, and project management) for each engagement to manage his clients’ occupancy costs locally and across portfolios. His experience includes new lease negotiations and renewals, portfolio optimization, build-to-suit developments, property acquisitions and dispositions, corporate headquarter relocations, and property valuation consulting.
Prior to joining JLL, Mr. Hawkins was Senior Vice President of Corporate Services with The Staubach Company. He has completed more than 450 transactions with a value consideration of more than $900M for a wide spectrum of tenants. Mr. Hawkins’ representative clients include Microsoft; Farmers Insurance; ICU Medical; HDR Engineering; Cisco Systems; Smile Brands; Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner; Morgan Lewis and Troutman Sanders.
While with The Staubach Company, Mr. Hawkins was honored as “Most Improved Broker” his second year in the business and “Top Achiever” multiple years. Mr. Hawkins has continued his success at JLL, being honored as a “Top Achiever” and “Gold Achiever” every year. Mr. Hawkins also volunteers his time as a mentor in JLL’s annual Mentor Protégé program and is a member of the JLL Law Firm Practice Group.
Mr. Hawkins is a leader in the Orange County commercial real estate industry, having been recognized as a CoStar Power Broker and Broker of the Quarter and Broker of the Year by Orange County’s largest landlord, The Irvine Company (2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2016 & 2017).
Education and affiliations
Mr. Hawkins received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University where he was also captain of the Men’s Soccer team that won three collegiate club national titles.
Mr. Hawkins currently sits on the board of Orange County Management Society, is a member of South County Management Society, and volunteers his time as a youth leader and head of his local church congregation in Ladera Ranch, California.
Mr. Hawkins holds real estate licensing designations in California.
