Current Responsibilities
Luke Pope joined JLL in 2013 and serves as Executive Managing Director. He is responsible for leasing and sales transactions involving occupiers, owners and investors of industrial real estate throughout the Northeast Florida market.
Experience
Prior to joining JLL, Luke served as the Manager of Leasing for Republic Property Company, a private industrial development firm based out of Atlanta, GA. He managed an industrial building and land portfolio located throughout Florida, Georgia, Texas and Indiana. He was also responsible for locating properties throughout the country for new development projects and on behalf of clients. Prior to Republic, Luke worked on the industrial transaction services team at GVA Advantis Commercial Real Estate where he assisted local and national clients with the lease, purchase and sale of industrial real estate. While at JLL, Luke and his team have led the Jacksonville market in total lease volume for multiple years in a row. In 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023 Luke was named Industrial Broker of the Year by the Northeast Florida Chapter of NAIOP. He has also been awarded numerous times for Northeast Florida Industrial Lease and Industrial Sale of the Year. Luke qualifies for Top Gun status at JLL and was the firm’s top grossing broker throughout the state of Florida in 2023.
Education and Affiliations
Luke is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He is a designated member of SIOR and a licensed real estate agent in the states of Florida and Georgia.
Luke is a member of JLL’s Supply Chain & Logistics Solutions Team, the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, the JAX USA Business Development Committee, and the Northeast Florida Chapter of NAIOP. In 2022, Luke was asked to sit on JLL’s National Industrial Executive Council.
