Current responsibilities
Mr. Stauber is a Managing Director with Jones Lang LaSalle where he is focused on leading new business efforts and expanding strategic client relationships as a senior leader with JLL’s Ports, Airports and Global Infrastructure (PAGI) team as well as a certified member of JLL’s Supply Chain and Logistics Consulting team. Mr. Stauber assists corporations and investors/owners with the development and implementation of their real estate strategies including the acquisition, disposition, development and capital market activities of facilities in the Midwest, the United States and internationally.
Experience
Mr. Stauber has more than 25 years of experience in acquisitions, leasing, investment sales and build-to-suit development having completed numerous physically and financially large and complex projects. Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Mr. Stauber was Senior Regional Director of First Industrial Realty Trust’s Midwest region where he oversaw all aspects of a 10 million square foot portfolio and in addition, completed 2.8 million square feet of build-to-suits across the Midwest and Southeast. He joined First Industrial in 2006 from Colliers International where he was one of the top industrial brokers for many years.
His current and previous clients include Andersen Corporation, Caterpillar, DuPont, Kimberly-Clark, Kohler Company, Kontrolmatik/Pomega, Proctor & Gamble, SC Johnson, Snapple Beverage Co., Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., Whirlpool, Cabot Properties, Inc., Clarion, Elion Partners, DHL Supply Chain, First Industrial Realty Trust, Heitman, IDI, JP Morgan, LINK Industrial Properties, Meritex Enterprises, PGIM (Prudential), Prologis, Ridge Property Trust and Sitex Realty Group.
Education/qualifications
Mr. Stauber holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Northwestern University. Mr. Stauber was an invited participant in U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker’s September 2016 Chicago Regional Port Roundtable. He has been a guest speaker and panelist on many real estate and transportation related events
including the Journal of Commerce’s annual Inland Distribution and Port conference and guest lecturer at Northwestern University’s Transportation Center and DePaul University’s Kellerstadt Graduate School of Business.
Mr. Stauber previously served on the Board of Directors of the Chicago Chapter of NAIOP and as Co-chair of its Developing Leaders and Scholarship committee. He was an active member of SIOR and previously served as President of the Chicago chapter as well as having held other officer positions. He is an active member and a former Board Member of the Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers (AIRE). Mr. Stauber formerly served as a Board Member of Glencoe School District 35.
