Keely Polczynski is a 20-year capital markets professional focused on the sale of institutional commercial real estate. As leader of Midwest Retail Investment Sales as well as National High Streets at JLL, Keely advises clients nationally in their disposition efforts. As a native Midwesterner, she has keen knowledge of the major retail nodes as well as consumer demand drivers. Keely was a first mover in Chicago’s Fulton Market with a proven track record of attracting foreign and high net worth capital to achieve record breaking values. She capitalized on those efforts by spending the last several years tracking major retail thoroughfares nationally and internationally to emulate that track record in other high street/luxury retail markets.
Prior to JLL, Keely served as a senior partner in the CBRE Chicago Capital Markets Institutional Properties team. She began her career in the Retail Institutional Group, then ventured to sole practitioner with the inception of the urban Investment sales practice at CBRE in 2006, growing it to be the dominant market-maker in downtown Chicago by touting the sale of some of the most significant and prominent properties amongst Chicago’s high streets, universally recognized commercial corridors and emerging markets. In 2019, was asked to add to her responsibilities to cover the sale of institutional office towers in Chicago’s CBD. She served on the Americas Producer Advisory Board, the Capital Markets Board as well as the Women’s Network at CBRE.
In her current role, Keely provides a full scope of services required for complex property transactions in her representation of private equity funds, life insurance companies, pension funds, as well as public and private REITS. She consistently delivers superior value to her clients by getting them premium pricing and attractive terms, in turn establishing herself as a top producer in the industry with sales surpassing $5 billion, as well as ranking among the top 10% of all CBRE brokers nationally.
