Current responsibilities
While Mr. Burke is primarily focused on the Houston market, in his over 28 years he has completed projects in cities throughout the United States. In 2002, he completed the largest office lease transaction of the year in New Orleans for ExxonMobil Corporation.
In May 2008, he completed a 109,000 square foot lease transaction for KPMG to be the lead tenant in the new Hines Mainplace building (now BG Group Place) in downtown Houston. In July 2011, Mr. Burke completed a 186,000 square foot lease for BBVA Compass to be the lead tenant in the Galleria market’s first new multi-tenant office building in 30 years. In June 2012, he completed a 204,000 RSF lease for Murphy Exploration and Production to be the lead tenant in a to-be-built building in the Memorial City project in the Houston Energy Corridor. Also in 2012, he completed a 50,000 RSF lease for Environmental Resource Management (ERM) to be the lead tenant in and kick-off development of the City Center 4 building in the City Center mixed use project in the Houston Energy Corridor.
In 2020 Mr. Burke complete a 130,000 RSF lease restructuring and extension for KPMG at 811 Main in Houston.
In 2021, Mr. Burke completed a 51,000 RSF disposition for Murphy Oil in Calgary.
Prior to joining the Staubach Company (later JLL) Mr. Burke spent five years with Hines providing management and leasing services in downtown Houston.
