Current Responsibilities
Don has more than 30 years of experience in the industry. He has served as Senior Vice President for JLL’s Tenant representation group since January 2001. Services provided to corporate and institutional clients have included the following: Multi-city portfolio transaction management for global oil & gas services firm (over 250 locations, conducting transactions in US, Canada, Latin America, Mid-east and Asia); Gulf coast area transactions for national aerospace and NASA contractor, (relationship spanning 35 years and dozens of office lease transactions); Numerous lease transactions, land sales and acquisitions for regional energy mid-stream company (20 + years); Retail & office acquisitions and dispositions for regional bank (retail leasing, building acquisitions, build-to-suite and office leases; Gulf coast land site search for global petrochemical company (criteria: multi-state area, government incentives, critical infrastructure and trained work force); Building sales and acquisitions for corporate and institutional office and industrial occupiers; long term ground lease acquisitions for Houston bank; over 1,000 office lease transactions, including landlord and tenant representation; and sales, acquisition and finance for industrial investment partnership (supervision of property management, accounting, leasing and partnership reporting).
Experience
Both corporate and institutional clients benefit from Don’s extensive knowledge in the areas of strategic planning, market analysis, lease negotiations, land and building sales. Before joining JLL, he served in positions with Transwestern Commercial Services, The Horne Company and Trammell Crow Company, where he represented the interests of institutional owners such as Mass Mutual, RREEF Funds, The Travelers and J.P. Morgan Investment Management, Inc.
