Current Responsibilities
Dana Getz is the Director of Property Management for the New Jersey market. She is responsible for providing senior-level oversight for Property Management teams and ensuring compliance with client strategies and objectives.
Dana currently serves as the President of Business Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of New Jersey, the leading association for commercial real estate professionals. The organization represents owners, managers and property professionals for all commercial building types, including office, industrial, medical, corporate and mixed-use. The organization’s mission is to advance the commercial real estate industry through advocacy, education, research standards and information.
Experience
Dana has more than 25 years of professional commercial real estate experience. She has significant knowledge of and experience in property management, capital project management and facility management. She has an extensive background in working with Fortune 500 and local entrepreneurial clients.
Dana has spent most of her career at JLL. In her many years with the firm, she has served as Facility Manager, Project Manager, General Manager and Group Manager on many different asset types, in addition to serving as part of the national transition team. During her tenure at JLL, Dana was responsible for providing third-party property management services for the firm’s clients throughout the New Jersey region for assets totaling 1.3 million s.f., while guiding her teams to deliver best-in-class property management services.
Education and Affiliations
Dana graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelor of arts degree in communication. She holds a real estate license for the State of New Jersey and is President of BOMA of New Jersey. Dana has earned and currently maintains a LEED Green Associate designation.
She proudly supports Special Olympics of New Jersey along with being involved with Tackle Kids Cancer, the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society.
