Current Responsibilities
Cheryl Carron is the Americas Chief Operating Officer and President of the Healthcare division for JLL’s Work Dynamics business.
As the Americas COO, Cheryl works in partnership with the CEO to define regional operational and business strategy, manage governance, drive overall operational excellence and performance, evolve talent in alignment with business needs and promote growth and productivity in partnership with our Americas Board. In this role, she also has direct oversight for the growth of our Latin America and Canada businesses.
As the President of JLL’s Healthcare business, Cheryl is responsible for leading and evolving our products and services to meet the needs of health systems while developing and delivering scalable real estate solutions to improve the customer, patient, and team experience. She leads a team of more than 2,300 whose focus is to improve client outcomes through real estate and technology outsourcing solutions.
Experience
Through her 28-year career in Commercial Real Estate and Integrated Facilities Management, Cheryl’s experience encompasses multiple industry sectors and global geographies. She understands how to bring the trends and technological innovations to advance client relationships, creating smarter, more efficient environments while humanizing the workplace – synergizing talent, data, and sustainability to create agile workplaces of the future.
Most recently she was Head of Global Workplace Management for JLL leading Integrated Facilities Management and driving operational delivery excellence for our clients. Prior to joining JLL in May 2021, Cheryl served as President of Integrated Facilities Management, North America, for Sodexo. Her previous experience includes roles as Vice President and Senior Managing Director at CBRE and several global senior leadership positions at Johnson Controls in Global Operations, Sales and General Management. She has also served as a principal consultant for several Fortune 500 corporations and real estate service providers.
Education and Affiliations
Cheryl is a member of JLL’s Work Dynamics America’s Board and the Americas Executive Committee, and previously served on the International Facility Management Association’s (IFMA) Global Board of Directors. She is the current Chair of the Milwaukee Ballet and a former long-time board member for the United Way of Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha County. She is a former Chair and Emeritus member of the Women’s Leadership Council, focused on issues impacting women and girls. In 2018, she received the “Women of Influence” award from the Milwaukee Business Journal, and in 2023 received the Globe St. Women of Influence Corporate Real Estate Executive award.
Cheryl has a Master of Corporate Real Estate degree from CoreNet, has completed Executive Management courses at the University of Chicago Booth School of Management, and holds a BA in Corporate Communications and Business Administration from Dominican University in River Forest, IL.
