Bobby Magnano serves as President of JLL Financial Services, leveraging over 31 years of industry experience. As JLL’s largest industry sector, Bobby brings experience in corporate real estate and specialized expertise in procurement and supplier management, integrated technology, risk management and strategies for improving the workplace experience to our financial services clients.
Bobby’s focuses on promoting an inclusive workplace and has a passion for building diverse, high-performing teams and cultivating talent. As a strategic problem solver, Bobby combines intuition with analytics to solve complex problems and drive results to exceed clients’ expectations. Bobby has a proven track record of crafting and implementing large scale transformational commercial real estate changes that unlock value and deliver bottom line results.
Previous experience
Prior to leading JLL Financial Services, Bobby served as Global Account Executive for JLL’s Bank of America account where he led a global team of over 1,200 employees. Bobby was focused on ensuring operational and service excellence across the full scope of real estate and advisory services JLL provides for the complex and highly sophisticated financial institution.
Bobby served as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Services for Capital One. He led the Workplace Solutions (Corporate Real Estate), Enterprise Supplier Management (Procurement and Vendor Management) and Enterprise Safety & Security teams within the Company’s Enterprise Services Group. Bobby also developed Capital One | Spring, a new product innovation within Enterprise Services. Bobby’s Workplace Solutions team managed Capital One’s eleven million square foot real estate portfolio, while the Enterprise Supplier Management organization was responsible for managing the Company’s more than $8 billion third-party spend.
Within Bobby’s 21 years at Capital One, he held a variety of leadership positions within Capital One’s Global Finance organization including serving as Chief Financial Officer of the Company’s US Card business line.
Bobby started his career as a management consultant at PwC and held a variety of financial analyst positions at GE Capital, gaining a strong consultative approach to the work he brings to JLL’s clients.
Education and affiliations
Bobby graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with a concentration in Accounting and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Columbia Business School. Bobby is Vice Chair of the Capital One Foundation, Board Chair at YMCA of Greater Richmond and serves as a Board Member for Habitat for Humanity.
