MMGY Global to relocate global headquarters to new Downtown Overland Park, Kansas office
JLL secures office lease for leading travel, tourism and hospitality marketing company
KANSAS CITY, January 23, 2020 – MMGY Global, the world's largest integrated marketing company specializing in the travel, tourism and hospitality industry, is relocating its corporate headquarters from Kansas City, Missouri to Overland Park, Kansas. JLL announced today the successful negotiation of a new 32,000-square-foot office lease for the company at The Edison District, located at 7301 W 80th Street in Overland Park.

JLL Vice President RJ Trowbridge and Managing Director Larry Glaze represented MMGY Global in the lease negotiation and led the site selection efforts. AREA Real Estate’s Tim Schaffer represented the property ownership.

According to JLL Research, office completions jumped to 312,817 square feet at the end of 2019 with the completion of the Edison District. As of Q4 2019, the North Johnson County submarket recorded 169,221 square feet delivered with another 130,000 square feet currently under construction.
Earlier this month, JLL announced the firm was selected to lease MMGY Global’s current 39,547-square-foot office location at 4601 Madison in Kansas City. The four-story building in Country Club Plaza, the region’s premier office and retail destination, offers a rare opportunity for a potential occupier to lease a single-tenant building within one of the highest traffic areas of the city.
