Matan Companies to develop New Kent Logistics Center

RICHMOND, VA, July 11, 2024 – JLL announced today it represented Matan Companies in the purchase of approximately 185 acres of industrial-zoned land for its planned development, New Kent Logistics Center. JLL is also marketing for lease the four-building, two-million-square-foot industrial project located at the Emmaus Church Road interchange on Interstate 64 New Kent County, Virginia.

“With the uptick in activity at the Port of Virginia, additional industrial space is needed now more than ever,” stated JP Matan, Director of Leasing, Matan Companies. “The New Kent Logistics Center, which is ideally located between Norfolk and Richmond, has the ability to accommodate companies doing business along the I-64 corridor in these major Mid-Atlantic cities.”
