Kaizen Development Partners breaks ground on One Bethany West in Allen

DALLAS, May 3, 2019 – Kaizen Development Partners announced the ground breaking for One Bethany West at Watters Creek in Allen, Texas today. BOKA Powell is the architect for the project and Balfour Beatty is serving as the general contractor.

JLL’s Blake Shipley and Chris Doggett are leading the marketing and leasing efforts for the eight-story, 200,000-square-foot, spec Class A office property.

On-site amenities will include a tenant lounge, conference center, fitness center, men’s and women’s locker rooms with shower facilities, and a golf simulator.

One Bethany West will also provide tenants and guests immediate access to the new Watters Creek Convention Center and Delta Hotels by Marriott Dallas Allen, which features the new Stampede 66 from renowned celebrity Chef Stephan Pyles. The property is located across from Watters Creek, which offers a variety of popular restaurants, retail and shopping options.

The Allen Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) is also pleased to support the project.

One Bethany East at Watters Creek was completed last year, as was development on cybersecurity and business intelligence provider NETSCOUT Systems, Inc.’s new regional research and development office at One Bethany at Watters Creek. According to JLL Research, over 736,000 square feet of Class A office space was absorbed in the US 75 North submarket in 2018, 19.6% of the market total, driven in part by companies interested in accessing nearby quality labor pools and the surrounding infrastructure.

One Bethany West is scheduled to deliver Q1 2020. Two additional development sites are currently available in One Bethany at Watters Creek for potential build-to-suits.
