JLL supports HG Medical in manufacturing facility expansion

GRAND RAPIDS, Jan. 8, 2024 – JLL is pleased to announce that HG Medical Corporation is expanding its medical manufacturing operations by establishing a new, world-class facility at Holland Tech Center located at 701 S Waverly Road in Holland, Michigan. HG Medical will occupy 124,000 square feet at the site, which is owned by Industrial Commercial Properties. The company’s anticipated move-in date is set for the second quarter of 2024.

JLL’s Bob Horn, Executive Vice President, handled the location selection and oversaw the lease negotiations. Jubal Smith of JLL’s incentives team also supported HG Medical in securing nearly $2 million in state incentives.

Upon reviewing sites in several other states, including Indiana and Tennessee, HG Medical selected Michigan for the quality of its workforce. A $1.8 million performance-based grant from the Michigan Business Development Program was given to HG Medical, which will support its operations and creation of 180 jobs across engineering, technology, and administrative operations.

Holland Tech Center is an 860,000-square-foot technological center in a campus-like setting with an array of amenities offered to tenants including an onsite cafeteria, onsite surface parking, key card security system, and onsite management.
