JLL retail leasing expert enters Hampton Roads market

Hampton Roads, VA, January 29, 2021 - JLL announces the hiring of Kien Tsoi to its retail leasing team in Hampton Roads. Tsoi joins the firm’s Virginia office as Vice President after nearly two decades driving client opportunities on the west coast, six of which spent in JLL’s Los Angeles office.

“I feel very fortunate to be entering the Hampton Roads market,” stated Tsoi. “Not only are my wife and I are closer to family, but I am energized to spark new and fresh ideas right here in Norfolk. Having left one coast for another, I’ve seen many similarities which in my eyes, creates tremendous growth potential.”

Tsoi has developed strategies for his retail clients that will be a competitive advantage for retailers looking within the Hampton Roads area, including Real Estate Forensics and Predictive Psychographics. Using analytical forecasting, GIS and other diagnostic tools, Tsoi helps target properties in a holistic and data-driven manner.

Kien is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, an international retail real estate organization and a participant of ICSC Next Generation. Throughout his career,  he has handled retail leasing and sales of over a million and a half square feet of space with tenant representation of national brands and independently owned businesses.
