The JLL Puerto Rico team participated in and sponsored - The Puerto Rico Symposium: Building Synergies for Long-Term Growth and Development Opportunities. The Southeast Florida / Caribbean Region of ULI and the Puerto Rico Builders Association organized the program. The symposium was held on March 15, 2022, in Hotel AKA Brickell in Miami, Florida. The one-day symposium explored how both the public and private sector can work together to reimagine, revitalize, and rebuild Puerto Rico, with a special focus on hospitality, housing, manufacturing, and infrastructure. Highlights included new financing solutions and success stories in Puerto Rico’s development. JLL participated as a contributing sponsor and Andy Carlson, Country Manager for JLL Puerto Rico moderated a panel on Why Puerto Rico? - Stories of Success. The panelist included Federico Sanchez, President & CEO, Interlink Group; Dan Kodsi, CEO, Royal Palm Companies; Brad Dean, CEO, Discover Puerto Rico; and Rafael E. Rojo, President & CEO, VRM Companies.
