JLL hires debt and equity specialist in Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS, Dec. 13, 2021 – JLL Capital Markets announced today that it has hired Managing Director Scott Loving to specialize in debt and equity advisory transactions in the Twin Cities markets within Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota.

Loving brings more than 17 years of experience in commercial real estate debt and equity transactions. He joins JLL from another leading commercial real estate firm where he sourced, structured and originated more than $2 billion in capitalizations. He is versed in all asset classes, including multi-housing, industrial, office, life sciences, hospitality, retail and tax credit lending.

“JLL’s Capital Markets debt and equity group has a prominent place in the market, and I’m excited to be adding my skill set to a team with a lot of momentum,” Loving said. “The lending environment is constantly changing, and JLL’s team approach, platform of relationships and abundance of real-time transaction data offers significant opportunities for me to add value to clients.”

He joins a JLL Capital Markets team helmed by Senior Managing Directors David Berglund and Colin Ryan, who have grown the office from seven to 25 capital markets specialists and support staff.

Loving, who will report to both Berglund and Ryan, earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and received his master’s in business administration from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Business.
