JLL hired to lease CalSTRS HQ in West Sacramento

JLL has been hired by California State Teachers’ Retirement System (CalSTRS) to lease 6 floors, totaling approximately 150,000 square feet, at 100 Waterfront Place in West Sacramento.

SACRAMENTO, October 29, 2019 – JLL has been hired by California State Teachers’ Retirement System (CalSTRS) to lease 6 floors, totaling approximately 150,000 square feet, at 100 Waterfront Place in West Sacramento. 100 Waterfront Place is a 17-story, 409,000 square foot, LEED Platinum office building and home to the pension fund’s headquarters. This trophy office building was completed in 2009 and is one of the most recognizable office buildings in the Sacramento skyline. The space will be available in the Fall of 2022.

CalSTRS has started construction on the second phase of its campus which will result in the addition of a 10-story, 510,000 square foot building on what is now a surface parking lot adjacent to CalSTRS existing headquarters. This move will allow CalSTRS to provide for its future growth while strategically leasing space to 3rd party tenants in the 100 Waterfront Place tower until it is needed.
