JLL expands presence across central Iowa

DES MOINES, Iowa, September 12, 2024 – JLL announced today its Des Moines commercial real estate leasing team will expand its presence in central Iowa by opening an additional office in Ankeny. To deepen its service for clients in the area, JLL Des Moines will also occupy new office space at The District at Prairie Trail, Ankeny’s premier destination for best-in-class retail, entertainment, food and beverage, community events and healthcare. The District is owned by DRA Properties. JLL’s team also handles the commercial leasing and sales for The District and Prairie Trail in Ankeny.

The team will continue to maintain its office in downtown Des Moines.

JLL’s brokerage team is led by Senior Managing Directors Marcus Pitts and Justin Lossner for the states of Iowa and Nebraska.

“Momentum in Des Moines’ central business district remains strong,” said Lossner. “There’s a lot to be optimistic about, especially as we’re seeing more and more companies attracted to downtown’s vibrancy to achieve long-term success.”

According the U.S. Census Bureau, Ankeny is the sixth largest city in Iowa, with its population having more than doubled since 2000. This tremendous growth underscores the value of this strategic investment by JLL, with its leasing team better positioned to meet the needs of its clients with a physical presence at The District.
