JLL bolsters Industrial Team with addition of new EVP

SACRAMENTO – JLL, a leading real estate and investment management firm, has announced the hire of Mike Metzger as executive vice president and a member of its Industrial Team in Sacramento, working closely with Mike Zimmerman and Sean Merold.

JLL’s Northern California Industrial Team operates as a “super region,” featuring streamlined operations for brokerage, research, marketing and project management.

In his new role, Metzger will specialize in industrial leasing and sales, with an emphasis on landlord representation, property acquisition/disposition and investment analysis.

Metzger comes to JLL with more than a decade of industrial real estate experience, most recently with institutional investor Westcore, where he served as director of acquisitions in the Los Angeles market and director of leasing in the Sacramento market. He has completed more than 600 leases totaling more than 12 million square feet and has directly acquired $310 million of industrial property totaling 2.3 million square feet.

Metzger played baseball at both University of California, Los Angeles and the University of San Diego, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in political science and business administration. He also served on the board of directors of ACRE Sacramento (2015-2017) and as president of the board in 2017.
