JLL appoints Nicasio Gutiérrez as PDS global head of design

Newly created role bolsters firm’s commitment to expanding its global design capabilities

CHICAGO, October 8, 2024 – JLL (NYSE: JLL) announced today that it has appointed Nicasio Gutiérrez as Project and Development Services (PDS) Global Head of Design. Effective January 1, 2025, Gutiérrez will assume his new role, reporting to Cynthia Kantor, CEO, PDS, JLL.

In this newly created position, Gutiérrez will lead a global team of design experts to accelerate the continued growth of JLL's interior design offerings, which include design advisory, delivery and furniture solutions. His team will execute unparalleled design deliverables to clients worldwide, strengthening JLL’s position in the market as a global leader and advisor in design strategy.

With over 23 years of experience, Gutiérrez has led international and multicultural teams, taking a client-focused approach to the creation and delivery of bespoke, complex design and build projects. In his current role as CEO, Tétris, JLL, Gutiérrez has been fundamental in driving forward the Tétris business, which includes expanding its operations to over 20 countries. Prior to this, he built his reputation leading areAZero, an architecture and engineering consulting firm.
