Jacobs of JLL’s Pittsburgh office completes 750,000 s/f, $72M renewal and expansion on behalf of Amdocs

PITTSBURGH, Nov 23, 2018 — JLL Pittsburgh successfully completed a 750,000-square-foot, $72M renewal and expansion on behalf of leading software and services provider Amdocs in Pune, India. As a result, more than 40 percent of Amdocs’ employees are able to continue to call this space their home.

Amdocs has been developing software in Cybercity of Magarpatta for the last decade. Because options in the existing market are extremely tight, Amdocs would have been forced to look at new construction if this lease was not renewed. This transaction was the largest office lease renewal in Pune’s history.

Nick Jacobs of JLL’s Pittsburgh office represented Amdocs, Inc. in this transaction. Jacobs has represented Amdocs’ global real estate transactions since 2013. He is responsible for leading global real estate acquisitions and dispositions on behalf of Amdocs.
