A123 Systems appoints JLL to support U.S. expansion with new manufacturing facility
JLL selected as real estate advisor to align with A123 System’s long-term growth goals
CHICAGO, Jan. 22, 2025 – JLL announced today that the firm has been appointed as the real estate advisor for A123 Systems’ planned U.S. manufacturing facility, which will be the company’s third North American location. A123 Systems is a developer and manufacturer of lithium iron phosphate batteries and energy storage systems.
As part of the engagement, JLL will support A123 Systems in identifying and securing a real estate solution that expands its North American footprint, which currently includes facilities in Novi, Mich. and Waltham, Mass. The JLL team will also assist A123 Systems in selecting, negotiating and documenting the transaction, ensuring the new facility aligns with the company’s long-term operational goals and growth strategy.
