JLL Latin America supports their community in time of pandemic
Brazil’s Sourcing & Procurement Lead uses her expertise to help small businesses impacted by pandemic
During the COVID-19 crisis, JLL’s Lilian Pontes, Head of Sourcing & Procurement for Brazil, and her colleagues have found a special way to help others.
Since so many small businesses were impacted by the pandemic, Lilian and her colleagues created an aid group offering free advice to local small business owners through social networks, training and shared experience.
"Being able to help others without expecting anything in return is unique,” said Lilian. “Actions like these help us grow as human beings. Seeing our guidance implemented gives me a unique satisfaction."
Lilian has used her business experience to help a Catholic Parish — located in the Region of Cotia — with hiring security and cleaning services and has also supported a food company developing e-commerce tools.
"There’s a saying I really like: don’t waste your gifts or they shall be taken from you. Do not keep knowledge, share it.” said Lilian.
