JLL India distribute sanitizing gel to policemen at road checkpoints.
JLL India employees from the Property and Asset Management team in the Mumbai office were concerned that policemen stationed at road checkpoints were wearing little protection other than masks while encountering hundreds of drivers a day.
The team took action, pooling their own money together to buy 500 bottles of sanitizing gel. They distributed them personally to the policemen across seven checkpoints around the city.
“We spent about two days covering the checkpoints. The policemen were really appreciative that we thought about their health and took the time to come down to hand out these sanitizers,” says Sandesh Mahajan, one of the employees involved in this initiative.
