Highlights
Recognized as a Top Workplace for Disability Inclusion by the Disability Equality Index (DEI)
Launched a nationally supported employment program for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, through partners like Best Buddies International
Launched the Caregiver Network, an internal resource and connection hub that supports JLL employees who provide care for someone with a disability
Participated in Best Buddies’ Virtual Friendship Walk and raised funds for initiatives that support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
Drive annual internal and external awareness campaign for National Disability Employment Awareness Month with perspectives from senior leadership and stories from our employees
Partnered with the WBN to host an evening of powerful discussions around Design Empathy as it relates to the future of workspace, the built environment, and what it means to be truly inclusionary as our industry evolves
Community moments
JLL Facilities Coordinator, David Asbury, spoke at JLL’s National Disability Employment Awareness Month event after being named Best Buddies Jobs Program Employee of the Year.
The Pacific Northwest Disability Empowerment Network chapter participated in Seattle’s Autism Speaks walk, raising funds and awareness for people with Autism and their families.
The Disability Empowerment Network SoCal chapter gathered at the Best Buddies Friendship Walk.
