Additional details

High energy prices, coupled with the long-term need to make buildings both more energy efficient and less reliant on fossil fuels, are tough challenges facing companies in 2023. Many buildings are inefficient in energy use; understanding and addressing problem areas can lead to big improvements in terms of emissions reductions and costs. In many cases, retrofitting old building infrastructure will be key.

What’s more, to make longer-term progress towards net zero goals and comply with incoming regulations, companies must also start shifting to renewable energy, whether installing their own solar panels or procuring it from external providers. Translating strategies into action plans and implementing them effectively is critical.
